I'm not sure if you read the essay, and even tho my take is that Drake is not Hip-Hop, I 100% believe he's a great rapper and has contributed to the artform of Rap in ways we would be wrong to not celebrate. My opinion is that there is a difference between Rap (the genre) and Hip-Hop (the culture). But it all depends on how we define Hip-Hop, so I'm curious how do you define it?
